pretty sure its pure speed does not take advantage of multicore processors at all just speed. So a pentium d at 4.7 would do much better than a quad core at 3.3. I think, I would just leave that one alone if I was you.

xxrabid93 Amazing job Q! Thanks man! Got it at 4.788Ghz on my i7 960. It really pushes the cards much better than my 920, however in Vantage, it's about equal. 920 @ 4.54 = 960 @ 4.79. Funny about that.....kinda what we all saw with the 975 extreme. John, your Quad Vantage record stands another night!!!

johnksss hahaha, did that record hold longer than hallowen.? I think so....you were the first > 45k, which was back in July as I remember. He never passed you again, so he reined from say Jan 20, 2009, when the 295's hit the market, to say mid July. So six months. You've had it for seven months...

I was looking at Team EVGA's awards and saw this one: " #1 GeForce 8800M GTS in 3Dmark 2006 with 10196 marks" Hmm... it would be fun to play in that competition. With my laptop with the 8800M GTS, this was my best score: 3DMark06 Score: 10,105 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=8429938 Mine is also a p6860-fx "Modified from stock: 2.5GHz T9300 vs 1.83GHz T5550, 4GB 667MHz CL4 RAM vs 4GB 667MHz CL5, Raid0 WD HDDs, 630/960 8800M GTS vs 500/800 8800M GTS" ^(mine) - John's is liked above. So close, so close. JohnKSSS, what was your secret? How were you able to overclock the processor and memory? The standard memory runs at 667MHz. So, did you increase the memory speed and processor speed by FSB modification? And how? And how did you get that processor to work with the motherboard? I didn't think it was supported. Do you have a custom BIOS?

The 6gb ddr3 2000mhz Kingston in my main rig? I haven't messed around oc'ing it yet, so i can't give you presonal info on it. But i found a thread about oc'ing it on XS, and it seems to do pretty well. Here's the link: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=234869 So, the single cards seem really hard to do... I think what i need most though is a higher cpu clock. I hope i can get that on the DFI board i have. I have also considered picking up a nice dual or 2 for s775. Maybe an e5200 and e7400 or something similar. If any of you find deals on some nice s775 duals, i would appreciate it if you guys could post it here. I should still have more room to go on the gpu though. It is running 700/1750/870 (core/shader/mem) without breaking a sweat.
