nah...not like that....i ran the 186 so it would show on orb with a legit whql orb verified driver. the 190.56 we're far better drivers for the gtx. i can't be that competitive with my friends. once i got up in the 46+ and 31+ range it was like...ummm...ok....yet you, nate and i are hanging out....sorry...i bring my friends up with me...not sit back and be like...ok....lol. sitting on the throne is no fun if your buddies cant sit with you!. nateman_doo Mmmhummmm..... http://twitpic.com/w3peg scary isn't it?? ya saw that too but the asus board is out and available but at a closer glance there is only one pcie x 16 slot on it so I guess the only thing it would be good for ist to put up a single card score, and as much fun as it would be not sure if its 500+ dollars worth of fun.

It's rumored that the EVGA dual socket board will have two NF200's so maybe 4 full width PCI-E 2.0 X16 graphics card slots will be on the board. I'm not a fan of NF200 chips, though. I'm not sure what I'll end up doing. I don't really see a market for dual socket, it seems like it will destroy the niche overclocking single board market. The average gamer and casual overclocker will throw the towel in and fall back to entry level boards and just play games.

@sociopc I could be really out of line for saying this but I don't think there is any reason for this board besides making sure that evga stays on top of the world. It almost seems like its going to be timed out so that the i9 + fermi + dual 1366 board will becoming out in the same time period. I am sure someone with either a HUGE budget or a sponser will have benches from all this equipment very very soon. I mean we could really see a 80k or more vantage run soon I think the low key guys will always have a niche too I know I will most likely never top any charts, but we are addicts I am never happy with whatever clock my cpu is stable at.

Well I do see a digital PWM and theres a picture of the EVBot plugin on the board. So EVGA is definitely pushing toward overclocking abilities with the board. It's all coming down to just how well it overclocks I guess.. and of course if 4-way full 2.0 PCi-E is supported. I wish it were 3.0, then it may be a good investment.

don't really matter if they are plagued with the in and out memory channel. or disappearing memory channel...boot with 6 gigs of ram then go into windows and you have 4 gigs. edit: yeah, that was a major drawback there...no 3.0 anything on this board.... gigabyte has a 3.0 everything board coming out...i would have thought evga would as well..meaning at the same time...not 3 months behind the competion

Well nothing is 100% right now though, we can only speculate. Shamino is on board and I'm assuming this is something he had a hand in.. so maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised. Overall I thought the Classy release last year was pretty cool it didn't let me down.

I never got that far I guess since I'm still waiting on my chiller.. Yea I'm sort of waiting on the Fermi's.. and I may opt out of that if some good deals pop up on the ATI cards. Even if the Fermi's drop in March I'm sure they'll be out of stock or impossible to get for months.. and of course bring in above msrp prices. Nvidia couldn't even deliver reference 295's consistently.. I'd like to think the 380's will be easier to attain.

Sort of I have some older pic's the case in these wasn't bolted together and the t-stat, and led/cathode colors are different in some of them but gives a better look at the big boxy thing. There's some addons that bolt onto the housing also that will change it a lot, I'll have to show those whenever I get it.

Over $1000. The window mounted rads/heater cores and exhaust kit make it more expensive than I'd originally planned on. I'm sure I'll be happy with it when it's finally here.

Essentially an AC unit, but the evap is basically a heat exchanger, where the the liquid flows through the other part of the heat exchanger? Halo_003 Ah... Guys.. You going on a sabbatical or something? As for the dual board, yea they have been around for some time, but they were never overclockable due to them usually only being for servers. I really was looking forward to enjoying this x58 classy as top dog for a while. Seems like to upgrade to this board will cost for the board, another set of ram, and a chip. Plus video cards. This is getting to become an expensive habit. I gotta start making more blocks to keep up with this habit

That chiller. See the heat exchangers in the bottom left? I would love to build one of those, but if I could do that, then I would probably start getting into phase change. I guess I should say that it is not a matter if I can build it or not, but getting into the gas part is something I haven't done. I have worked a little bit with 134a in my car, and even went so far as to replace the main gasket on my AC Compressor, vacuumed, and recharged the lines, but that is about it. I would love to build a tiny chiller like that one. I just don't know where people get those compressors, condensers, and heat exchangers etc... And where do you get those thermal probes?!?

Nate here is a link to the best temp probes around http://us.fluke.com/usen/...Fluke+50+Series+II.htm They cost an arm and a leg though. Here is an extreme cooling shop. Im not sure what all they carry. http://www.under-the-ice.com/ That heat exchanger is HUGE in the picture you showed. Most likely came off a largish AC unit. In fact, that entire phase change chiller is huge. He must not be running it at full capacity because from the looks of it I would think it could hold those cards well below zero.
