Meh, didn't feel like editing it.  what Q56 said yesterday just hit home.  Why drive your equipment to the bring of destruction without having something to show for it. 

i know its not much to speak of but i popped in my 9600 gt vid cards and ran a vantage run on the new board and ram got a low score but was enough to take top standing for 9600gt cards on vantage. well its a start i am brining it up slowly and making sure to get it colder as i do. nate and i have been working closly in past weeks working on eachothers systems so hopefuly when the fermi cards are fully out i can get these 9600 out of here and realy have some fun. but for now i will take what i can get. i am still only on air but i have a liquid cooled system as well just tinkering to see how cold i can get it on air first and then keep bringing it down benching the whole way down.

i spent the entire night with nateman in his metal shop. i wont give away any of his secrets but it was alot of fun working on some of the projects tonight. @john yes worked on yours as well progress is being made

Any word on the 300's yet or am I going to have to invest in the "Dark Side"?   I really want to do some 3D Mark...  I guess I'm going to have to put my money into some gpu's instead of all this cpu cooling stuff if I want to play that game?  Man... the 32nm Westmere's will be here soon... lol... I forgot to post this.  I installed a fuel filter to collect anything unwanted from flowing through the system.  I am quite pleased with it.

you would be surprised.  There is almost no resistance.

That's right, bro...not to mention the time you've invested. 

nice. I like the fuel filter idea.

there is no reduction in bandwidth.  The liquid flows into the res at the same volume as before.  It just accelerates slightly as it goes through the smaller sections. 

for that brief 1" in each side of the filter, yes.  same volume of water flows through
