I agree Q, X79 was a major let down so far, I'll have to really consider if I even want to switch or just grab an X58A-OC.

What are the specs on the new lappy John? I'm thinking play with P67 and X58 for now. Anyways guys I'm thinking maybe getting an Ivy Bridge chip on 1155 sometime in March or so, any thoughts on that? I'll wait and see if there's a D0 revision for SB-E for now, I really wasn't impressed that C0 3960X's are only getting to around 5500Mhz. Also any suggestions on a relatively cheap but good P67/Z78 board for triple card benching?

My change of pace went from making waterblocks, to building a brand new mill, to fixing my current one. I guess as long as I am busy, I can't complain.

So when is natman going to bench again? I know he's busy with his milling and such, but dosn't he need to test the blocks? Not just for leaks but for performance? Just asking.

So boys, wanna help me out with pushing to around 4.7-4.9Ghz range? I'd love to be able to bench Vantage that high. Here's what I have now, stable for Wprime 1024m but not for Vantage. Load temps at 1.45V are ~70C on cores, not bad. I can run ice if needed though to take a few degrees off. Will update you guys tomorrow after my last exam. English, hate it. lol. I found out though, I have a beast 295. It's a 295+ that can do 801/1250 on 1188mV. Not bad. Can do 810/1260 on 1200mV, didn't try 1188. Max load temps were around 40C, idle of about 35C. I have high hopes for this card on a Tek 9.
