Your puttin up some nice #'s for Windows 7 MrNatural!  Making me want to dust off my F1EE pot and see what I can come up with.

Try running the 64K 3 times or so then do a 32M run.  Also if you are running dual cards don't.  Run with one, preferably a smaller GPU like a 8600gt or something and without the GPU driver installed.

I'm running into some kind of bug on the high clock speeds with LinX.

"Shock-the-Monkey" and I have both noticed this...  there seems to be some sort of memory leak in all the later versions of LinX.   It takes way too long on the first pass (250 sec)with very low gflops (35)... and as you continue... longer for each pass with less  and less gflops as you continue until you get a pop up that message from windows wanting to shut down stuff to create more memory.

I noticed AWallGuy seemed to run his ok at 4.7ghz... but Monkey and myself both have this problem.

Any ideas anyone???

maybe.... depends on what your settings are and the main factor of this whole ordeal....having a 759 board.lol

everyone with these boards seems to have high azz stable over clocks being pushed.

Yep. Mines a 760. Seems everything I try with LinX gives me either a x50 error or x0a error. Real pain. Yet I can run Prime with no problem.

Ahhh... that's better!

4.75 ghz ht on!

I'm not sure why LinX would run slower with HT on???   1.5 hrs to run this!   I will have to check and see if I drop the cpu speed down if LinX runs faster... all  my other4.5 and 4.6 runs were around 1hr 5mins except that HT off run which was less than 1hr.

Going for 4.8 ghz now.

Blah!!!  I bought the W3570 for $595 on a tip from "Monkey"!  They say Xeon is better binned and across most of the forums... I think you see better Xeon clocks than 975's.. plus that neat little Xeon sticker.

i think now i could have made my 975 soar. wish i didn't get rid of it now....
i have learned allot and that knowledge would ahve helped me put the 975 in the 5.1 to 5.2 category..
extremes and xeons always had the lower temps in the end... at least with mine.

Yeah I remember when those were that price at ebay.  Still kicking myself over it as they were a dynamite batch #.  I just thought the deal was too true to be good.  In the past I have watched as well as gotten burned over deals that were like this.

Word to the wise, just hold out on getting a extreme chip for 2-3 months to see if the 6 core Gulftown drops like they are saying it will.  It is killing all benches at the time.
