Nate, where can i get drill bits to thread holes? Also, is there a way to figure out the thread type/size on standoffs, or are they a universal size? (if they are universal, what type/size?).I am planning on making a custom mobo tray, and need to drill and thread standoff holes.

you mean TAPS?  drill bits drill holes, taps thread the holes to make machine screws go in the holes you drilled.

6-32 is the universal computer thread tap/screw.  next size down is 4-40 (cdrom/hard drive thread size)

I would get the following sizes taps:

8-32
6-32
4-40

Can't hurt to have these sizes laying around.  If you go to any huge hardware store you could buy a tap & die set, which will usually come with tap & die as small as 6-32, but not 4-40.

Like everything,  I get it from McMaster Carr.

Didn't get too far with the a/c....evaporator froze up.  But I got #2 in the world for quad-sli (gtx295) & #5 for single 295.  First time, and probably the last, I beat K|ngp|n!

#2 in world run

I thought I'd run one to see how the 980x works with physx-on. Not too shabby...again low gpu clocks, but I can get over P46k with ease.

hummmm, well isn't this a weird turn of events...i wonder how this chip is fairing with the 5800/5900's

edit:

they seem to be fine with it. someone got a 31k with a slight over clock (dual gpu) i got 30k with a high over clock.

I think you should probably copy the x1 list and not hte overall list. If he can get in the top 20 with only one card, I will run across the country naked

So Q56, when are you going to let me borrow this chip?

I thought that was the top 5870 scores and John wanted him in there with Q's 5870, or did he sell it already?

I thought I'd run one to see how the 980x works with physx-on. Not too shabby...again low gpu clocks, but I can get over P46k with ease.

WOW!  and that is at a nice mild 4.6GHz OC.   wow.  Seventy FIVE THOUSAND cpu score.  Say that with respect.  SEVENTY FIVE THOUSAND.
Why on earth haven't you built a chiller?!  Bring your chip over, and lets what that thing can REALLY do on some super cooling!!

You are 2nd in the world.  Man that must be sweet.  you bumped my cherry card down to 8th.  I see my rank slipping in the next few weeks.

whats it like to beat kingp|n?  i doubt I will ever know that feeling :P
