Nice!!! Where'd you get it from?! I won't get anything unless it's a 980X/970.

I still plan on 970 or 980x later this year.

i have a question for those of you who are running at 4.5 and higher, what do you find that you vtt needs to be set for it to be stable and also the ram that you are using.  im trying to figure out if it is my ram that is holding me back or the memory controller on the 920 because i get instability and 124 bsod at anything above 220 x 21, ill be testing later this week with my brother's patriot ram but i was just looking for some input

Im just going to guess your having heat issues at 1.611 vcore. Thats right around where I am and I have to try pretty hard to keep my chip cool. I cant bench unless I am running chilled water through my rig. If your trying to do some benching you might want to pull it back I have trouble when ever I idle over 30 at those speeds. With 1.6 vcore the swing is CRAZY youll go from 40 to 90 in a matter of seconds.

Oh yea and if vtt is the same as uncore I keep mine just under 1.5

hey ajr I get better scores when I run my ram looser w/ higher freq. What is your ram rated 1600 9-9-9-24, If it is you should be able to squeeze 1700 or so out of it

the ram is rated at 6-7-6-18@1600, i tried multiple runs and i did find it better at 1750mhz rather than ~1350mhz but i had timings at 8-8-8-24 and it hard locked on me when i upped it bclk will try later tonight with ram at 9-9-9-24 @ ~1750mhz i will also try it at ~1350mhz with the timings set to 5-6-5-15
edit: im also contemplating getting 6gb of 2000mhz but can't justify spend that much money right now.

Why it sounds like you have awsome ram mine blows. Just my 2 cents but it seems like the gpu benches like tighter timings and the cpu benches like more freq

the ram is awesome it's just that it requires quite a bit of vtt which doesn't help temps

to fold bigadv at 4.3ghz 1650mhz 7-7-7-20 it requires about +375 and for benching its upwards of 400 or 425

johnksss im able to run my memory at +300 when not folding and still have stability in 50 passes of linx but folding and the higher clock speed when benching just seems to need a larger increase in vtt than it should.

Wow, you guys really need to pump the VTT through your chips. I did 245 Bclk at +500mv IIRC, I was only on an x17 multi though.

Hmmm......Maybe I wont wait for the weekend to do DICE

i was running the 21 multi and ram at like 1800 to 2000 mhz, but im starting to get the hang of these 3900 cpus. my 3800 took no where near as much to run.

Maybe the VTT requirements are higher for higher end RAM chips? I got really cheap OCZ Platinum, thats the only differnce that I can see between our setups. Either that or my IMC just rocks

I finally found my last GTZ block spring...............it was literally an inch away from my computer................ Gonna play with Vantage now with some better CPU clocks

lol Rudster... When I run 4.06Ghz my VTT takes about +400. Higher gets insane though. But I hate my chip. I dunno how to get higher, I can hit 217 blck without changing anything but VTT, Vcore and RAM settings... But anything higher and it hard locks. I think it could get damn near 5Ghz on a Classified and DICE.
