Greetings EVGA forum dwellers.
Long time no post. Longer time no step-ups for me.

I landed a GTX 1080 Founder's Edition that I decided to upgrade when I saw the 1080 Ti SC Black Ed. was available for step-up, and for not much more than what I invested in my 1080 in the first place. I've been stuck at Processing since 05-23-2017 (just short of two weeks) and thought I could create a feeler thread to find out what an average wait time has been for the community. Anyone?

FWIW - I am excited. Not impatient. I scored a cheap $120 Polaris card to use in my downtime for the Step-Up and everything

I started mine on 5/22. This is turning into a seriously long wait.

Just sent in payment today! It says "verifying transaction" right now. Hopefully I get the next email tomorrow and can send my card in.

    Thanks for the update.

Get ready for LONG wait. I was in the queue for two months. In the next step, you'll send in payment. There is a 24 hour turnaround for them to confirm the payment and then you get an email with an RMA number. Only then can you send the card in.

I started my step-up on 5/22. On 7/17, I got the email from evga asking for the payment. It was approved on 7/18 and I sent in the card on 7/19. evga will receive it today and hopefully ship out my 1080 ti SC tomorrow. I paid for 2 day shipping so if all goes well, I'll have it on Friday.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us here today. Unfortunately through the Step Up program, you would have to sit in a queue. The Step Ups are done in batches due to availability of what we have for stock. With that being said, we wouldn't have an exact ETA on when the step-ups move. However, once you move to the top of the queue and we do have them available, you would be notified to make a payment and continue forward to the next step to send us your current card first. Once we receive it, it would take about 1-3 business days to process and shipped out via UPS with the options you've selected for shipping. I apologize for any inconveniences that anyone has while awaiting in queue. If you have any further questions or concerns, EVGA Customer Support is available 24/7, 1 (888) 880-3842.

    Regards
    Thomas N.
