JerkMan Has anyone in push/pull used a fan cable Y splitter to control both fans on one card? Thoughts on this?
i'm using a Y 4-pin splitter for my fans in push-pull with PWM function but i don't know any other program avaliable other then SpeedFan , i'm still trying to create a profile for the fans. for some reason i can't get the profile to work and the fans are at full rpm since the EK one is loud but pushing a lot of air. your idea is good , to sync 2+ fans for improved cooling is going to rock but since software selection is limited you'll have some clicking and testing to do.
I have this fan controller so I don't need software: http://www.newegg.com/Pro...2E16811992007&FM=1I guess my question is will the individual connections be ok to power 2 fans and is it ok to mix the fan models.

you can connect 2 fans with a splitter on one header on the controller just watch how many power aka how many Watt's that controller can hold on a single channel. IMO you can mix them , if they're different models each one will rotate at its max speed if you crank the power max , you have 5x 30 W headers as i see on the controller specs , that's 30 W per connection, i don't think there are a lot of fans that can take 30 W of power in their normal working cycle...

I don't use a fan splitter at all, but that's me. I have the Sentry MX-2 which has 6 fan controllers on it. 4x for my CPU push/pull config, and 2x for my 980 ti hybrid push/pull. Then I have the stock 2x 200mm fans which are controlled by buttons on the case.

I have 3 case fans on that controller as well. It seems like the bGears fans aren't at full power, maybe speeding up the EVGA fans will get me another degree or two.

Ah see I just have 2x 200mm on my Thermaltake Core v71 and those are controlled by the case switches. I have the Sentry MX-2 for my other fans.

splitters area cheap way to avoid buying another fan contoller , at least in my eyes. and i'm saying that in a good way, usualy price for controllers vary from 30-90 $ at least in my comedian country, most controllers can sustain 30 W per connection used for fans , so you can without any danger take a splitter and connect 2 fans on one header ( you won't even get close to those 30W ) i see i am not the only one that likes wind in my room while doors and windows are closed xD

Hello my ASIC is 76.7 , have a beginner questions can i damage my gpu if i increase accidentally too much mhz on gpu without touching voltage ? accidentally i add 270 mhz on core, i planned just 27 mhz :) and on memory 495. Straight away i got blue screen. I'm paranoiac a little bit :( Whats about voltage and warranty, anyone can explain for me a bit about voltage and warranty ? Thx

I remember that feeling when I did that to my 580 lol. You're fine. Anything done through software is safe and covered through warranty. Just remember when you're overclocking to not check the apply at startup box.

Why not? What does this do? Also, does anyone know where I can buy the stock radiator fan that comes with the GTX 980 Ti Hybrid? I really need to get it because I broke one of the fans on one of my hybrids, and I have tried several different high quality fans and none of them give me the same performance as the stock EVGA hybrid radiator fan, which ends up being slightly a few less degrees under load. So is there anywhere I can buy them seperatly, they have to be sold somewhere rite?

if yo check the box "apply at startup" the change of setting you've made will be applied when your pc is booting or the program starts( i dont know is your afterburner starts when system is loading up). in case you made a mistake and inputed wrong OC setting this get you some headache. as for fan , you need a static pressure type of fan, not "regular" fan that is for designed air flow. it all depends do you want performance or silence, do choose accordingly . I got myself a EKWB Furious Vardar 120 mm 3000 RPM fan but i spend 100 % of my pc time with closed type headphones on my head...
