Nice! I only lost 13 MHz compared to yours going SLI with similar ASICs.

Hey guys should I use 2 high static pressure fans on the radiator in push/pull

Or use 1 high statis pressure fan and 1 high airflow fan in push/pull?

I would think static pressure, you can get ones with both, I just bought some from Newegg...

Good static pressure (anything above 3) and great airflow.

Hello all,

got my Hybrid few days ago and since i'm stalking there forums for a while now i would like to make my contribution.
Jumping from XFX 6870 2 to 980 TI and after few days i'm still..wow ,w t f have I bought ?

ASIC 71,8% ; stock clocks atm but when I ran the GPUZ render stress test and it showed 1386 MHz boost (haven't played with OC yet) ; still on stock fan the temp never went above 40 *C while playing (on aggressive fan mode 35 *C is max). I'm planing to see what this abomination is capable of as soon as i get some more time , any suggestions for proper testing are always welcome.

The stock EVGA fan is fine, and I have the bGears fan that jerk posted. I've been using those fans now for a few years and with push/pull I idle at 25c.

I'm not sure if this is the thread for it or not BUT

Any one else go to the 980 Ti page and see the Hybrid and Hydro-copper "Auto-Notify" or "Add to cart" buttons totally missing?

Yea, we're aware of it from another thread. I think they're working on it or will fix it Monday most likely.

Ah yea. I don't mind the fan noise tbh. When I game I have the volume up and I sleep with a fan blowing on my face anyways so it's just a rhythmic tune for me now.

Just bought a corsair obsidian 900d case to replace my Phanteks Luxe case, it felt like a very worthy upgrade having 2x Hybrids and a swiftech AIO now with ample room for them all.

I left the EVGA fan included as the push fan, I just added the bGears fan as the pull.

Same here. I already noticed a small improvement playing for 20-30 min with the OC, highest temp was 48C.

Yea I mean anything after a certain point of static pressure isn't going to make a difference. You can change the EVGA fans out with those Corsair fans and you wouldn't really notice a difference, maybe at best 1 degree?

You don't need to get any special fans. Use the stock EVGA fan as the push one and just get a higher CFM fan for the pull.

I think the EVGA fan is rated something around 70 cfm, so anything 70 or over would be beneficial. Putting an expensive fan on the pull isn't going to yield you any different results so you're wasting money.

At the same time for a push fan just because it has a high cfm doesn't mean it's good at pushing air through the radiator.

Yes, but they're way overpriced. The bgears fan is less than a third of the price and within .1mm/H2O, and much better cfm.

Well I was aiming for sp120s because I want white led ones, and I have a corsair obsidian 900D case, so I just want it to all fit in with the white and EVGA theme.

Well I was aiming for sp120s because I want white led ones, and I have a corsair obsidian 900D case, so I just want it to all fit in with the white and EVGA theme.

Still I'm pretty sure you can find a better cfm fan with white LED's.
