How did you overclock that high i can only get 100 MHZ on core, and 500 on mem, anything over that it just crashes. I want my core clock to be around 150, 140 ish. I tried lowering my memory to 0 and 110 is the max it seems. I don't get it my temps idle at 27, asic of 82 something. Just frustrating Edit: Did you just run firestrike thats it? Or did you run all the test ( in the free version). Because when I run firestrike by itself its fine, but if I run all the test it crashes after 10-15 mins

Overclocking is a crapshoot. Your OC is still pretty good.

Well the frame increase can be huge, so that's why I'm doing it. But dose it matter if it crashes in the full test but not in firestrike? Because I had a higher overclock (one that would crash but in gaming it would be fine Witcher 3 max settings.

Again, overclocking past factory settings is a crapshoot. What works in one game/benchmark may not work in another. It's just the reality of OCing.

Oh ok, what do you use to validate your settings so to speak. Or do you not mess with OC ?

I don't bench, but I know that basically if an OC passes a bench and obtains a score, that OC was successful. In games, well, it's a matter of just playing the game and if the system crashes, I know that particular OC isn't stable for that game. I really only play BF4 right now so the OC in my sig is specific to that game. When I FINALLY get the new Batman game, I can almost guarantee the stable OC for that game will be different. It has a lot to do with the game code as well as the driver code, in combination with your particular card(s).

TYIPICALLY (not always) you'll be able to get higher OCs benching because even though it induces higher stresses, it's for a much shorter duration. Just keep that in mind. Also, try increments of 13 on the clock.

Sure will, my ASIC was 82 or 83 I believe so which is why I'm surprised it couldn't OC that well.

The other misconception is that ASIC is directly related to OC clocks. It's not, it's more related to voltage as it relates to overclocking. I'll find a good video later when I'm not on my phone that explains.

Hey guys with SLi Hybrids, can you post me a pic of your SLi setups with the Hybrids and what max temps u r getting with the bottom card? I have tried a few different configurations but my bottom Hybrid keeps reaching 65°C :(

First, it's the top card that runs hotter usually. Mine is push/pull and runs about 50C. It was at about 55C before I added the second fans, so yours is running a little hot. I have intake fans in the front and bottom, and exhaust at the back that takes out the hot air almost directly from my Noctua heatsink. The HYBRIDS are mounted at the top as exhaust in a push/pull. It might be an airflow issue or a GPU issue, I don't know.

65 is way too hot for a hybrid (although it can handle it....should be a lot lower since that's the point of a hybrid). Something sounds amiss like Jerkman said, try and get colder air moving through it to see if that solves anything even if you aren't going to keep it that way at least you'll know, even if you have to vent it outside the case just to make sure it isn't an air flow issue....otherwise it may be something wrong with the aio. I have 3 and the max any of them get is 47, which happens a few times...typically 45 max is the highest any of them get.

narrn001 Hey guys with SLi Hybrids, can you post me a pic of your SLi setups with the Hybrids and what max temps u r getting with the bottom card? I have tried a few different configurations but my bottom Hybrid keeps reaching 65°C :(
Is the hoses at the bottom of the pump instead of the top? Also just for testing purposes, maybe switch them in spots just for one of those to answer my question that if it runs 65 down there I'm curious what it'll run on the top.

I have the pump on the sides. I will switch them around later tonight.

The HYBRID is oriented with the bottom of the reservoir by the tubes, so they should be at the bottom so there's no air in the system.

For the record, mine are mounted horizontally, at the top of the case, so I'm not sure a pic would do you much good as it sounds like yours are mounted vertically. Just make sure the tubes are on the bottom of it's not horizontal. I'll still get you a pic eventually, I'm not home right now.

Hi I got some time to test today and diagonsed that my heating issue was due to using an aftermarket fan. Apparantly the cheap $9AUD Aerocool fan is no good as the radiator fan. As I mentioned previously the stock fan cable snapped when I was installing it, so I had resort to using a different fan. So I tried that fan on each card and it would cause that card to heat up alot whilst the one using the stock fan will only go to max ~52°C. That being said, is anyone using a different fan than the stock one here on their rad? Also, what is the stock fan brand and type, and can it be purchased from anywhere?

Yea not all fans are good for static pressure which is what the stock fan was. I hadn't realized you were using a different fan.

I've got fans coming, so I'll post a photo when my rig's set up final. In the meantime, check out this post from Jacob: http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2362601
