elezraita So, it looks like a 760 W Platinum will easily be sufficient for a single one of these. Correct? Actually, this sounds like a dumb question considering that it handles my 780 Classy no problem. it will handle it easily! :)

I just cancelled my order for a pair of GTX-980 K|NGP|N's. I was going to compare specs with the Titan Black, and there's nothing listed under Titan other than the Titan Z. That tells me that the new Titan "X", or whatever it will be called, is coming soon. Modern monitors will demand the extra memory of a Titan. My experience with the 1st KPE was everything except enjoyable, which is also a factor I'm considering. I may be completely mistaken, so I'm not telling anyone to do the same as me. Use your own judgment. Remember how the market was glutted with the original K|NGP|N soon after it came out? Once bitten, twice shy.

WhiteDragon_ I respect your opinion but I have to disagree on the "Quality" part of Aquacomputer being "Far Superior" to EK. AC Blocks are restrictive and they do not cool the VRM that good. Here is one review of temps... http://www.xtremerigs.net/2013/10/03/nvidia-gtx780titan-water-block-roundup/2/
I have used Danger Den , Koolance , EK , Whatever is on Evga's 580 FTW hydrocopper ( swiftec I think ) and now I am using Aquacomputer blocks on my 780Ti's. I must say they are as good as any of the other top notch manufacturers blocks , my temps are not an issue. In their defense they are the easiest blocks to mount i have ever seen , the standoffs that normally come in a bag are made onto the block , no fuss no muss perfect alignment every time. ( between myself and my buddy we did 5 780ti's ) But I agree I'm not sure any of them are "Far Superior" to EK ... Just as good ? .. Maybe

All the high end Kepler single GPU cards were taken out the day GM204 came out. I wouldn't really see this as a sign of new GPUs coming out immediately.

We appreciate the detailed update, simply means more GTX 980 KingPins and Festivus for the rest of us.

Yes Titan X will be excellent but I would not complain with 980 K|NGP|N until NVIDIA allow brands to produce custom GM200 completely unlocked. Titan X will be very expensive for first moment and probably not clearly gaming card. Until become full gaming option, cheaper with 6GB, 980 K|NGP|N is best choice.

Not sure what the big deal is with these Kingpin branded cards, it confuses me that a card made for extreme benchmarking with his name on it comes with a giant cooler when if ANYONE who will be using this for its branded purpose would benefit from an LN Cup, not a big ugly heat sink with pretty lights on it.

They can't sell card without cooler. Hardware must be in operational mode for everybody. That would be very expensive if they made card for LN2 only. And what will happen when finish overclocking, how to use card than, how to sell later. Gamers are interested too, cooler is not more than 30-40$ total and than customers will change. Most of owners will still use cards on AIR or Water. For my opinion water is best option, you can use 24h for gaming and overclocking on some normal numbers. I hope EK waterblock will be nice.

It is an enthusiast product that is marketed as a common consumer product, that is the only reason they would put an air cooler with shiny lights on it. I'll be fine with regular classifieds and put my own cooling on them. the $750 price tag is not worth the performance gain in my eyes. You can water/PC/LN any card and get the same results for less. This card it built for benchmarking, anyone who buys it for gaming is just spending money because it's fun to.

the reason why I buy this card is because I want to go a way from sli for awhile. I was looking for the best gtx 980 you could get and found this card. I will go all air. Call me dumb but it feels good to have a great card that will handle good overclocks :)

Be better if it was the 18th. The 19th being a Thursday it is cutting it tight to get to the new owner before the weekend. Even with one day shipping (unless you chose Saturday shipping) it may not make it till Monday. That would SUCK.

If you have one EVGA GTX980 ACX and you used on SLI or want to try SLI than better buy same card. In other case always GTX980 K|NGP|N. Or maybe is better single and extremely fast GTX980 before 6GB become available and than SLI. Depend from person to person what is priority. For me is clock priority.

For single card is OK 4GB, no problems. Even for SLI 4GB is exactly proper for 1080p or 1440p. Example now I feel sorry because I didn't bought Titan Black 6GB. But with Titan Black I would need 2-3000 GPU Performance more, he is weaker than overclocked 780Ti and overclocked 980.

i think that the 980 K|NGP|IN isn't for everyone. The card is for people who want the top notch GPU on the market and is willing to pay the for it. If you are okey with your current 980 I would recommend you to go and get another one. :)
