GTX 960 FTW leaking!?

H60 CPU cooler I thought, but after inspecting, I see no signs of leaking from cooler, but on my card back plate it looks as if there is some sort of sponge that is secreting a oily substance, I try to upload pic but upload stops a 41% ??

ASRock Z790 Steel Legend,  DG-75 case
 INTEL I7 13700K LGA1700 @ stock clock

    Sounds like thermal pad leakage.

    Is that pad right under back plate? Like a circle pattern?!, I don't want to remove back plate 😓 in case of rma

    Yep. Removing the back plate to clean up the leakage won't be a problem as long as you don't damage the pcb in the process.

    Wow, I have never seen nor heard of this before.
    Weird.
    I looked it up on google and it is really bizzar.
    Are they using chemicals in pads that werent used before?
    Does this 'dry' the pad out?

    This isn't a new thing, 3 of my Titan Blacks were leaking thermal pads whatever that is, It wont hurt anything

    it goes back to the 480 days, i have a 580 with stock pads and they still ooze

    I've seen this dating back to my old GTX 570's personally. Was never an issue, just made sure every time I dusted out my PC to wipe it off & call it good.
