hello. i compared the image of the 1080 classified that Jacob Freeman posted on twitter to the GTX 980 Ti that I have. and it looks like the same exact lay out. i can't find a single structural difference between the two aside from less RAM chips, but that won't make a difference because pretty much every block I've seen for these things use one long plate to make contact to all the modules around the core. if this works out, it means that my EK water block will live through THREE generations of GPUs thanks to EVGA and their commitment to their designs. 
 
i wish there was a better picture though :/

    THANK YOU! and wow! the PCB layouts are spitting images of each other. unless there is a difference in the height of the GPUs, my water block will definitely work on the 1080 classy
