Well I just dropped the card on tiger direct. They give a 5-7 Day in stock time and "Claim" 95% accuracy. I know..
 
Either way its locked in and waiting I don't have to lurk anymore. If 5-7 days is even close then I;m good with it. The Vanilla's seems to be keeping stock however so if that's what your flavor is they're there!

I signed up for auto notify with two different email accounts on the 25th as well. I still received zero notification. Buying 6??? You must be the guy that puts them on ebay for 675. I sure dont think they are all in your machine. But hey, my loss your more creative than I with your different accounts. I actually buy most of my e purchase of Amazon with the their free 2 day prime shipping and 4 dollar Overnights :)

I also like on amazon that you can buy now and when they get stock they ship it. I dont like that it says 1 to 2 months. My luck I'd pay and newegg would be rocking them tomorrow.

I agree in retrospect they do want one or 2 or even 3 in my machine. These things are flying off the shelf. I think are probably quite PO'd they didn't plan for enough. Biggest buying season of the year and the impending release of an ATI card. People might get fed up and grab an HD 6900. It looked like the ducks were in a row since the botched 480 release but it would seem here we go again.

I don't sell stuff on ebay for gouged profits, but I do have 3 gaming PC's those 6 cards will be going into(dual sli), I will be selling 2 of the 580 SC's after I can purchase 2 of the gtx 580 FTW hydrocopper2 models for my liquid cooled system and the way these things sell out, I'll be lucky to snatch up 2 580 FTW's anytime soon. I'm sorry you didn't get any 580 SC's, but I've been hanging out around this forum night and day for a week via mobile phone and mobile internet to get these cards and it finally paid off last night.

The OC version is pre-order...but the Vanilla 580 seems to be in stock for shipping.  Out of stock in store.  They are pretty good to deal with via shipping...

It's like the lottery man. I just got one from the Egg after being bumped out of the Queue for one last week. Mine is the EVGA GTX 580 SSC model, and was confirmed at 9:37 Pm EST, and at 9:48 PM payment was confirmed.
 
Keep checking guys. There may be some who cancel orders and they may pop back up. You gotta stay there commit to a day of it, and keep hitting F5. That's what I did before when the Egg BS'd me the 1st time, but I'm a very determined individual. Keep trying, these are the cards to have. I got the very model I wanted also. I didn't want the vanilla version, and didn't want the BO version because I'll be watercooling anyway.
