Hello guys,

I was just wondering if anyone here could help me out I'm planning on water cooling both my GTX 480 SC possibly my X58 Classified 3X SLI 760 and my i7 920 processor.  I have a 800D Corsair Case and would like to know what kind of rad I should look into.  I've been looking at the rad below.  Has anyone used it before? If not could you suggest a good rad for my case and my cards?

I personally have the xspc rx360 I would alsp recommend thr hwlabs radiator if you intend to use the top slot for radiator in your 800d. You should be able to fit push pull 120's.

If you plan to put the radiator in the back externally then maybe go for a 560 size (140x4)

My set up is not too different component-wise; see my sig.  I believe your case has a little more room for rads.  I mounted one on top internally and one on top externally like this (hope the pics loaded):

I'm using standard 120x25 fans.  Temps are in the mid to high 30's idling and with folding (GPU's and CPU maxed out) around 600 C

Skinnee evaluated rads a year ago.  Here's the link.
    http://skinneelabs.com/triplesv2.html

I chose lower resistance rads as I did not want the rads to impede flow through the GPU's, MB, CPU.
Good luck with your build.  It's been lots of fun for me.

    Hi,

Over the weekend I just finally finished my new build with 2 x GTX 480s Hydro.

I went with the Black Ice GT Xtreme 560 Radiator with push / pull fans and a MCP655 pump.  All my water cooling stuff is external from the case I made a mounting plate for the radiator to sit in etc.

I found my hydro cards to idle in the mid 30s and under load for a period of time to hit the mid 40 degrees mark.

Very happy with temps and plan on Overclocking when I get time.

    jboudwin,

Its still a little messy at the moment but I'll get some pics to you this aftenroon / evening.

Its still a little messy I need to try to organise things a little more, but all the cabling etc I've sleeved and I have 2 fan controllers on the desk to adjust the RPM of the push / pull fans of the RAD.  Pump is also bolted down to the top of my desk.

    Cheers.

Lots of great watercooling builds using the 800/700D cases. Look in the build section for some good ideas. Here is my dual loop setup in a 700D with two 480s in Sli. Which will soon be upgraded to a Tri-Sli as I got my 3rd 480 last week.

All these look great thanks a lot guys.  Question for vegasr why did you go with the 700D and not the 800D?
