Hello,

I might have a little problem with my 1070TI FTW2.
When I start my PC and check my graphics card heat sensor the GPU sensor shows 41° C. Which is weird since I just booted it in a room that has maybe between 20-25° and all other sensor are 10 - 15° lower. (I attached a photo of it).
When under load all heat sensors go up as expected but this one. It only goes to around 45° but not any higher. (Attached a photo here as well).

Now the question is:
Is my sensor broken? Or is this maybe a bug?
If it is a broken sensor would I need to do something about it?
I recall that when I first checked this card after i got it (completly new, around 2 years ago) this was not the case. But it was another mobo and CPU( actually another all parts but GPU and hard drives changed since then).

Now I did check the heat with my Gigabyte App from the mobo and here the temperature is fine but it shows only one temperature for the whole GPU.

Specs:
CPU: i9 9900k
Mobo: Gighabyte Z390 AORUS PRO
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws 16 GB 3200 mhz

Looks like Bug of some sort .... 29C on left screen  --> while 42C on right ... in your photo

Test the accuracy of Reading ---> with GPU-Z, look at sensor tab

    Hello,
have a look at the GPU2 sensor in the photo. This is what I meant, it is on this photo 42° while the GPU1 sensor is 13° lower.
The right side in the photo seems to just show the higher one of the 2 sensors. So in this photo it shows the GPU2 sensor reading while under load it shows usually the GPU1 sensor reading since it is always higher than the other one.
Under load it is vice versa with the GPU 2 sensor being lower than the GPU1 and not exceeding 45° while the GPU1 Sensor does.

Nevertheless i did download GPU Z just to double check.
Shows the reading from GPU1 Sensor or another one:

Edit2: found a newer version of GPU Z which shows the sensor with same reading as in Precision XOC, so it seems to be a broken sensor:

    BR and thanks so far

    Nothing to worry about imo.
