GTX 1060 SSC White LED Does Not Illuminate/Stay On

I recently put together a system with a GTX 1060 SSC. When I power on the computer, the white EVGA logo lights up and then fades off after a second.
 
Once the system is booted up, all LED options are grayed out in EVGA Precision XOC and the Nvidia LED Visualizer doesn't do anything.
 
Any way to get it to stay on?

    What driver do you have installed?

    What driver do you have installed?




    It is whatever the GeForce Experience suggests is the latest driver. It has been updated twice since I assembled the computer. I would have to get back to you for the specific driver version. However there was still no change in the LED Visualizer after each update and I cannot find a way to control the lights directly in the GeForce experience.

    It's driver version 417.01.

    Led visualizer isn’t letting you control the led?

    Precision XOC is looking for an RGB controller, but doesn’t directly do white led for some reason.

    The LED Visualizer looks like it should work, it detects the card. However nothing I do lights the card up.

    Have you inspected the cards pcb to make sure all the fan/led cables are fully seated to the power headers on the card?

    Yes, I did pull the card back out and inspected what I believe is the two-pin power connector for the LED. I poked at the connector and it does seem firmly seated.
     
    So far I've only seen it light up for one second on cold boot, so I wonder if the setting is stored on the card's BIOS somehow? Possible a firmware/BIOS update might help?

    You could try powering the cooler leds from a header on your motherboard.

    Does the LED board have a voltage/current regulator? Don't want to hook up 12v direct to the LEDs and blow them out, then they really won't light up! Looks like a regular JST connector so I could probably rig something up if the PCB isn't providing power.

    I thought you cannot change the LED on the 1060 6GB card? Are you able to download a software for that and change that? I thought you need a 1070 and up for this LED change? Am I wrong?

    Please help me earn some bucks to save money in the future as a team player and gamer!

    I thought you cannot change the LED on the 1060 6GB card? Are you able to download a software for that and change that? I thought you need a 1070 and up for this LED change? Am I wrong?



    There are no RGB lights which is likely why it's greyed out in XOC but there should be a white LED that illuminates the EVGA logo.

    And it does come on but only for a split second when first starting the system.
