Hi folks,

I just upgraded my graphics card to a GTX 1060 SC 6GB that I am using to game with (Eve Online, Skyrim, RE7) on an LG 34GN850-B UltraWide 3440x1440. I am running an Intel i5, 32GB of Ram, and a 750w PSU. I have a problem that seems to be floating around the community where I can play for 20-30min and then my PC will just reboots. Normally this happens when there is a state transition in a game or if I am Alt+Tab between Windowed game instances (eg. Eve Multiboxing). However, it can literally happen while a game is idle too. Here is a the kicker, my old Radeon HD7850 could support 3440x1440 in all these games with much lower textures/shaders etc. without this problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciate.

Steps I have taken:
1) Updated my Bios
2) Uninstalled/Reinstalled GeForce Drivers
3) Reseeded card twice

Sounds like PSU. Your wattage is fine, but probably something internally has gone wrong. You can try to underclock the card heavily to limit power usage to see if it fixes it temporary, but I still think it's not a wattage/power consumption issue.

Corsair makes a great PSU, but 9 years is pushing it.

I picked up a Evga CQ 850W, been running it for 4 days playing with a lot of other programs running to stress test. Everything seems to be working correctly now, I have not experienced any Event - 41s The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly. So definitely seems like it was the old power supply. Thanks for the recommendations guys.
