    Why does it Matter ?

Do you already have this "card" ?

The factory of whatever Graphics card your interested in --> Can tell by their records based on serial number & other markings

I like when I buy hardware and it's made on my birthday month! :) extra cool when it's a graphics card. Always overclocks well ;)

The card is EVGA RTX 2080 XC, wanted to find out if this card was manufactured at release of RTX cards or later on. GPU-Z doesn't tell when it was manufactured, unless revision number can tell when it was manufactured? Which is A1. I bought the card only a month ago. But it could be one of the back stock cards, just curiosity basically. Got it from Ebuyer.com, not directly from EVGA. The Card it self runs OK? If u don't count in the game crashes with Apex and BF w/o errors right to desktop. I have tried multiple fixes nothing help, i just gave up on those games. Apparently a lot of people suffer from those problems.

This is as close as you'll get...

    Serial number breakdown:

    • First two digits:                                   Year Manufactured
    • Third digit:                                          Product type (1 being graphics card).
    • Fourth and Fifth:                                  What factory the product was built at.
    • Sixth:                                                 Warranty Length.
    • Seventh to Tenth:                                Part Number.
    • Eleventh:                                            Region Sold.
    • Twelfth to Sixteenth:                            SNS or Serial Number Sequence.

. Glad to know what the serial number means.
Just like a cars VIN number.
