Hello all.  Anyone out there with a Fractal Torrent case with a 4090/4080? If so, could you please post some pics? Am wondering how the cable management is with the "fire hazard" 4080/4090 adapter cable in the Torrent. Thank you!

The default NVIDIA cables are always going to look like ass.
And because of the way they're built, you're never going to get a "neat" solution.

That's true, and the angled cable adapters aren't available yet.

I think I will just wait until I can get an angled power adapter until I head over to Microcenter to pick up a 4080, the one near me has a bunch in stock.

Don't know of any fire hazard but the cables can easily be wrapped. Or get a 3.0 ATX PCIE 5 PSU? They should come with the cable?

I bought a Cable Mods cable for my 4080 it's designed for my P2 1200W PSU. Coming from China so it'll take a bit but it'll be worth it.

Case: Phanteks Enthoo Luxe CPU: Intel i7 5930K MoBo: Asus Rampage Edition 10 RAM: 32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB

Just be aware, if you use a 3rd Party cable, NVIDIA may fail to abide by their warranty.

    False.

Nvidia is covering 3rd Party cables as Steve from NG stated. Check on YouTube Nexus Gamers channel.

So I received the "CableMod RT-Series Pro ModFlex Sleeved 12VHPWR PCI-e Cable for ASUS and Seasonic" and I am not sure about the clearance with the side panel - maybe I'm just being paranoid? It may fit but am nervous about the bend. I think at this point I will wait for the angled power adapter.

Meanwhile install the card, connect the cable, but keep a side panel removed. Once you get the angled power adapter, put the side panel back.

Well seems to fit ok using the Cablemod cable. Routed the cable up because the Fractal Torrent's psu is on top, it also helped to minimize the bending (sorry for the blurry image, just got a new phone and can't figure out how to focus)

Oh by the way anyone else with a Torrent, the Lian-Li 'graphics card anti-sag bracket' is compatible with the Torrent. I used it along with the Torrent's own gpu bracket, that card ain't sagging nowhere.
