weird...i have installed 2.0.8 and work flawlessly, good temps now

Thx

That's what I did. You will still have a 10 degree lower than actual CPU temperature, but at least that is workable and not 60 degrees C higher than actual CPU temperature.

2.0.9 consistently reports ~50 degrees higher than what Ryzen Master reports.
2.0.8 reports exactly 17 degrees higher.
Software that's designed to regulate temperature should certainly become MORE accurate as version are updated.
****?

2.0.8 reports 10 degrees lower than actual on mine. Every other utility agrees it is 10 degrees higher than what flow control reports.
The software has never displayed correct CPU temperature ever since I purchased the CLC 240.
It's unfortunate EVGA cannot get this corrected in a timely manner.

I believe it is a good cooler, but the software support is just not there.

I sold my EVGA CLC AIO 280 mm and bought a Corsair 115i PRO. I must say that there is huge difference between the fans quality and software. Such a big relief! Dont mess with it, sell it, life is short!

So any idea if there's going to be an update fix for Ryzen CPU.

Software was showing CPU temp at +10 C.
Now the new update that was suppose to fix on Ryzen made it worst.
My software shows CPU temp at +50C

Reinstalled multiply times without any success.

I cannot return the product because my local retailer does not allow returns on water cooling product.

Using Ryzen 2600 on MSI b450 mortar mobo.

Just built a 2700x system today.  First time using an EVGA AIO (240) and the temps in Flow Control are reading +60 over Ryzen Master.

It's completely useless for setting a curve.

First Windows install / Flow Control install.

Are you guys planning on fixing this or should I return the EVGA AIO and go back to Corsair? After searching around a bit it seems this has been an ongoing issue.

Welcome to the club, does the exact same on mine.
If you install the previous version it will be better, with only a 10 degree to low reading.
I now set my curve on that and take the 10 degrees into account.

You can also set a curve based on coolant temperature, but I don't know if that is reading correct or not as there's no way to test this.
At least the curve based on CPU temperature can be checked with other utilities.

My god, please UNLOCK THE LIMIT of CPU temp on CPU TEMP x FAN SPEED graph, 60ºC is way too low temp for 100%(annoying) fan speed.

Did the same! Thanks for the tip! EVGA Flowcontrol is just a horrible software - I hope they learn from that and next time release a better product + software.

I'm actually thinking of returning to a decent air cooler;

My flow control is displaying my celsius as my Fahrenheit. So, in other words, it is reading the wrong temperature language and giving me false fan curves. I have an MSI motherboard X470 Gaming M7 AC (MS-7B77) on the latest bios (1.80). Showing temps of 100*+ which obviously reading my Fahrenheit by mistake. Please read this EVGA and fix. We buy the products, we deserve updates to fix these products.

Last post in this thread was in Feb; now its the end of Apr and no fix yet...

I just went back to 2.08 which shows 10° lower than core temp, AIDA64, and HWiNF064... easier for me to live with this that with the 50+° higher than what is reported with other programs displayed with 2.09...

I would like to say I'm having the same issue, seeming as though it's reading farenheight although it says Celcius. 2700x w/ aorus ultra gaming x470 mb. EVGA flow control is like the 4th program I installed after a clean windows 10 pro install. I've updating BIOS, chipset drivers etc... all windows updates are current. Still shows my cpu temp at between 100 - 104.9C, even though coolant temp stays around 27-29.

YES! This is nuts. My fans get so loud. I could hear them over others PCs at a LAN. Its ridiculous. Not only that, but this cooler doesnt work very well cooling my 7700k. Fans ramp up constantly. Its really not much better than my old air cooler. NO way I should be hitting 85-90C with no overclock on an AIO. But I am.

Crying shame EVGA does not seem to want to or maybe is not capable of fixing this problem with their Flow Control software...

as it sits in my system now I have no way of controlling the cooler other than taking wild ass guesses on fan speeds and can only seem to get something close to satisfactory by installing the ASUS A1 Suite which is some sort of Virus or Trojen in itself...LOL

Looks like I am going back to Air Cooling with a Noctua cooler...

I have since bought better, quieter fans and changed to controlling them with the motherboard headers. The flow control software is just useless.

Have this same problem. 2600x reports 100 degrees with 2.09. With 2.08 it works, but reports 10 degrees lower. It's been like that for more than a year. I guess EVGA makes good hardware but needs to hire more competent coders.

I had the same issue, created a ticket, had RMA, received a new cooler and had exactly the same problem temperatures in the range 70-110. (version 2.0.9)
It has just occurred to me that perhaps the temperature is correct but in Fahrenheit??

The URIs to download other recent releases of Flow Control are very similar to that as for the 2.0.9 release -- just change the version number.  (I'm unable to post URIs in this forum, at this time.)

On VirusTotal, they all tested clean, with minor exception, e.g., one engine didn't like 2.0.6 or 2.0.5, which I suspect to be false-positive.

I sure there is no need update new version for CLC Cooler and I have been used this for while then no need after!!
Have a good read below :-
Can I disconnect the USB Cable to a CLC Cooler after changing settings?and I can run without CLC software which I don't need this anymore....have a look here  CLC Software

Bumping this thing again, still wanting a fix and I'd think at this point it would be more of a priority given the roaring popularity of AMD right now.

curious if EVGA is even planning on updating the software or just scrapping the CLC line eventually?

I've been satisfied with EVGA products up until I bought this CLC.

Got this CLC240 to replace a CoolerMaster ML240L. This pump is better but the CM has much, much quieter fans. I had to change these EVGA fans immediately to some spare Arctic's I had laying around. I am a total EVGA fanboy, but what is going on here guys? EVGA should be dropping a few more bucks into the fans to fix the loudness problem in the future, and a few sprints of development should find and fix the wrong temperature issue. Seems like a F to C conversion issue somewhere. I am also wondering if they are going to EOS this Product in the near future.

I bought this too because I found that it did perform very well on a GN review but the software is buggy. Best thing is to revert to 2.0.8, it actually has no problems, just reverted to it the other day. You have to have a clean install, remove everything, drivers included, restart and install.

EDIT: Well I will say 1 small problem which has already been mentioned, you don't really get full control of the fan curve, the top and bottom most values on the curve are fixed. They can't be moved which is kinda dumb.

Just installed a Ryzan 5 2600 CPU and the AIO water cooler.

As well have loaded the 2.0.9 and temps are crazy higher by about 60 degrees. Mine runs idle at 28c based on CPU Temp, yet the EVGA software says  I'm running at 85c which no way  I am.
