I've clean installed the win10 pro and installed chipset driver set right after that. Working now.

Re: Flow Control v2.0.8 2018/11/30 08:51:38 (permalink)
i got it to fix . I deleted it from everything..the download folder i had to go into device manager and uninstall the ccvi in the universal serial bus controlers tab at the bottom then made sure nothing was running it in task manager and then i went into program files(x86) and deleted the led sync first then deleted the whole evga folder and then restarted and went to evga support and re downloaded it and it seemed to work for me. now i am able to get the flow controler to open on my screen and its all working so far.
hope it helps ..sorry if it doesnt.

Same, I tried the revo uninstaller approach but no dice.

It did reset most of the features from the EVGA Flow control but still no CPU temp

*UPDATE*

So I reinstalled PRecision since I had it before.. with my old GTX 960 EVGA and now CPU temp is showing.

Going to do a Revo Uninstall of ALL EVGA stuff atm.. see if it clears the issue. Be back in a moment.

Well, here's my 2 cents worth. New build, ASRock X470 K4 Mobo, Ryzen 5 2600x, GTX 1070ti, CLC 240. Plug placement is not relevant to me because the first time I fired the box up after installing and running Flow Control v2.0.8 everything worked just fine. Did not touch my rig! 3 days later and now I'm getting the error msg " could not find device". Uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times and continue to get the error code. I'm not gonna waste my time tearing into my new rig and changing plug placements every time this program goes wonky on me. It worked when I first installed it and it does not work now. And, judging from all the issues other members are having with FC and the tedious workarounds being suggested (many of which don't work), this is obvi a software issue and you guys need to get your stuff together and fix it. 2.0.8 was released back in June. Time for an update.

Yup, everytime I boot, says CPUBW or whatever isn't found. I have to open the application again and it opens. Still no temp.

Update 12/3/2018; So, uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted and poof! there it is.....still no fan speed. rebooted and poof....device not found! I am not going to "tinker" with my bios settings or anything else until you guys come up with a program that actually works. The next time I open my case it's going to be to remove the CLC and return it.

make sure the header plugs for the fan is on the CPU_OPT and the "To motherboard" one is on the CPU_FAN or SYSTEM_PUMP header if you have one.

For the CPU_FAN or System_Pump it should be either PWM or DC(voltage) with Fan speed at 100% IF you want to see the fan speed. I can assure you I went thru that issue and that solved it for me.

As for my previous, doing a clean uninstall of both Precision and Flow control allowed CPU temp to show again.

is anyone from evga going to even acknowledge my post? The software is completely unusable. Crashes my system every time i install it. Ryzen 2700x, x370 taichi. it would be nice to control my fans and pump.

I uninstalled Precision in general.. that shouldn't have anything to do with it, at least it shouldn't.

Did you Revo UNinstalled? That made the difference for me.

And you're using your in the wrong context. We are looking for your help and You're not giving it to us. Instead, you're telling us to go somewhere else to get it. I'll bet YOU'RE not even in this country.

Here i doesn't save the fan curve for cpu temps. I have to keep it open to work, because when i close it returns to coolant temp curve until i reopen.

You're supposed to have EVGA only. They don't support other manufacturers hardware. You're welcome.
