I bought a used XS-PC kit and then had to fix it up a bit and buy some extra stuff. I had been wanting to go H2O for some time now. My main concern was actually the NB/SB which seem to get nice and hot. Now it's much cooler. My idle temps are much better on my NB/SB and my load temps on CPU/NB/SB are very good. I can't wait to get more stuff now!!!

*sorry for the pics. I uploaded higher quality than I should have. :(  All my of my future posts will have a better size. I have taken out about 1/2 of the photos from the original post to help with viewing.

XS-PC Kit
Tubing
Koolance QD male
Koolance QD female
DI H2O
extra XS-PC fittings note***These are not the same 1/2ID x 3/4OD as the ones from my (older kit) the threads were a tiny bit different.

The lower left screw hole was stripped...:(  so I only got 3 out of 4 screws. I don't think it matters that much.

So the really long tube was not planned. I just could not get it to fit without putting too much force on the compression. I will be moving to Acrylic very soon!!!! It will look a lot cleaner, I promise!!! ;)

so I don't have access to a metal shop or have the tools to cut plastic..but I do have spray paint and cardboard!! Lower right corner. I cannot even tell its cardboard.

 ALL DONE.......for now

In the future, I will add GPU block. Monsta Rad below, Acrylic Tubing, & .......

Thank you everyone in the forums that provided me with info and suggestions for my build.

so I added a Bitspower VRM and XSPC 140mm Rad. I am very happy with my addition, although I did run into a few concerns along the way.

I had to switch my 360 Rad around, so that the tubing would fit in the back. Doing so, meant that I had to finally get rid of my DVD drive and I found out that, if you mount the rad with the ports on the front of the case, it means that I cannot mount a XSPC 480 rad up top. The extra space for the mounts will be blocked by the front control panel.

I completely lucked out. I looked at a bitspower VRM plus mobo waterblock schematic for the parts. I am glad the crystal link kits come in different sizes. I ended up using a longer one than I thought. Also the heights were nearly identical, so it worked out very well. The EVGA mobo waterblock looks nearly identical to the Bitspower WB.

There is not much more room in front of they Rad to add anything else like a larger one. I think the biggest would be a triple 420 Rad if you wanted to mount the Rad with the ports on the front of the case.

Getting the 140 Rad in here is a very tight fit. I had to redo my lighting. Before it ran up the side. Now, it turns 90 degrees under the 140 Rad.

    Nice clean build, looks good.
Remember if you do go with what you mentioned in your initial post of using a Monsta, you will need much more substantial fans to make it REALLY work to its potential, and they will be a bit noisy.  If not save the dough and go with a BI GTX Extreme gen2.

But this is a very solid and clean build!

    thank you :)

I like the alphacool rads for their performance and because of the multiple ports. I envisioned using one of the ports with a quick disconnect as a easy way drain my loop. I will probably go with the UT60 using 4 SP low noise fans. I think the performance is the same as the Monsta 480 using this fan config.

Good call.  If you are using light weight fans like this, yeah the Monsta is a waste.  Unless you are going with really high end 25mm's or 38mm fans that have VERY high static pressure the Monsta doesn't show what it is really capable of.

If you are trying to keep a mid noise level to quiet, nix the Monsta.  Monsta is the BEST when noise and huge current draw fans are a non issue, best ambient you will find, but if y ou aren't willing to make it sound like a hurricane, then stick with a diofferent model.

Added ColdZero plates, r9 290 with Aquacomputer block and backplate.

I had to use the middle slot for my gpu. I have been having issues with putting a GTX470 and the r9 290 in the first slot. Random freezes during gaming and loss of the onboard NIC. :/ After moving to the middle slot everything is working as it should. Hopefully it will stay the same..fingers crossed. :)

GPU idles around 40C and load gets to 58C

I think I am at my max for this (1)D5 pump. Next I will be getting the stuff for a second loop for my gpu and then another gpu.

The one thing I wished I knew when building my first H2O loop is when you are having problems getting flexible tubing on fittings, soak the ends in hot water. What I did was use a small hotplate on low with an old pot filled with water, makes things soooo much easier.

I understand putting water blocks over the entire board, I actually have that same board and pretty much everything gets very hot when overclocking. Can't wait to see the acrylic, its something I want to do as well but still don't really know how people are measuring the tubes to get the right bends and lining it up.
