This 566.36 driver install is as bad as the last driver install.

One difference was a grey box that appears asking to restart. Click on restart and the grey box disappears but nothing appears to be happening. Click on install again and a message says an install~download is taking place. Wait a bit more and it says a restart is required even though the grey box earlier had the restart button.

So, manually restart and just as last diver install, two of three screens do not work and the main screen is at a 720 resolution or so and so large only part of the page shows. I tried to grab a corner of the screen and reduce its size but tht function would not work.

The only option box alive was the install button again. All this did was repeat the above.

Next after restart, same issue with page size. I managed to tab until I found the option to custom install again, but due to the screen size and unable to adjust the page size, there was no way to select install. I continued to tab not knowing where the tab was ending up and selected enter. At some point I tabbed to the right spot and a new screen appeared showing an install progress.

At some point a restart was allowed and back to normal. I don't believe the clean install worked as the disk showed a sic GB loss. I did the normal cleaning of files and got three GB's back but I haven't found the folder containing the driver installs to see if the old driver is still there.

Can someone direct me to the W10 file containing the driver installs to see if the last driver is still hanging around.

    Thanks.

After this one, I'm done installing drivers for six months.

Since updating to NVIDIA drivers higher than version 560.70, I have been facing the same issue: once the update is done, the GPU fans stop working. I can no longer get any fan speed information in the X1 software. When the card is stressed in a game and reaches the maximum temperature, it goes into safety mode, resulting in a black screen! If I downgrade back to version 560.70, everything returns to normal.
