So as the title suggests I have a z790 classified. Recently one of my GSkill Ripjaws started failing (lots of errors in memtest86+ regardless of ram slot) so I opted to grab a 2x32 kit of Corsair Titanium DDR5 2x32 6000MHz CL30

And on boot it's simply not recognized. I updated to bios 1.11, I updated my graphics (ASUS 4090 Strix OC) card firmware, cleared CMOS. Damn near everything aside from trying to boot without my graphics card plugged in.

I'm getting a 53, 54, 04, 7f bugcheck code cycle. Two of those being in the reserved block for future use. The first two just stating there was a RAM init error. Is there anything I can do to fix this or am I SOL? Luckily only one of my old sticks is dead so I'm fine on one stick for now. Huge bummer though.

Do you have XMP enabled in BIOS? If so, try disabling it to see if it boots stock. If it does, try setting the Memory clock speed, timings, and voltage manually and test again.

Is CSM disabled again after you updated the BIOS?  I'm not familiar with the BIOS for the board, but is there a Memory training setting and is it enabled?

Did you happen to verify with Corsair that they've tested this Mem kit with this board? Check the QVL list and if not shown on there you could call and ask if they know if it's compatible or should be.

That's all I got. G/L to you. Hope you get it sorted out.

    what CPU?

have you tried manually set the RAM Voltage in BIOS?

Have you used default RAM speeds (basic & not claimed "6000")

have you tried Clear CMOS ? (after you copy all your settings)

Hey, sorry for the late updated. I tried everything you mentioned and more but no dice. They just don't work.

In that case, if Corsair claims they should work on your system and they don't, then time to return/exchange where purchased for another set or RMA with Corsair.

If Corsair does indeed say these RAM stick should work; then maybe, the CPU's IMC just cant work at that speed?

It's possible, but 6000MHz (with 2 sticks) should be pretty easy to achieve on these chips. When getting to/over 6800 is where issue's start coming in to play from anything I've seen or read about.
