I just received this EVGA GTX 1660 SUPER BLACK GAMING as a RMA. I always re paste refurbished GPU upon arrival since you never know how long they have been sitting. Upon removing the heatsink sure enough the thermal paste was so dry it was chunky and almost dust like in some parts. My main question is upon going over the card, there is no thermal pads or cooling what so ever over lower two GDDR6 RAM chips. Is there supposed to be some sort of heat disapation on these chips or just air cooled from the air coming through the heat sink? Its not a problem if I do need to cool them. There is plenty of clearance between the chips and the heatsink. I can easily install some RAM sinks.
