The first time I turned on the Z790 Dark KP I decided to update the BIOS (jumper 1) to version 1.13. I did everything according to the instructions, but the only deviation from the instructions was that the CPU was in the socket and the RAM cards were in the sockets. The power to the CPU was off. While updating BIOS, the LED stopped at the postcode "E8(EB)", after 10 minutes the postcode had not changed and I decided to power off the power supply. Repeated the same operation without the CPU and RAM. Everything stopped at the postcode "E8(EB)". Can you tell me what I was doing wrong?
I decided to update my BIOS (jumper 2) to version 1.13 through the BIOS update menu, everything went fine. But when I start my system with BIOS (jumper 1) during initialization, the indicator light gives me postcode "00" and my CPU gets really hot.
