Hi,

Earlier this week I placed an order for EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING (with a Z12 RGB Gaming Keyboard in the bundle). Today UPS notified me that the package was delivered, but when I went to look for it 10 minutes later I could not find it anywhere near my apartment. I have already filed a claim with UPS for this order and contacted EVGA support via email.

I just wanted to ask if anyone has dealt with similar situations with missing/stolen UPS packages. How useful is their claim system? Were you able to find the package in the end or get a refund?

For any person from EVGA reading this - what steps should I take next to get a reshipment or refund? I have done everything I can on the UPS side - filed, called, emailed, and all they tell me is to wait for their investigation.

This has been happening for a while. Make sure it wasn’t placed somewhere else, and UPS will likely make you wait a couple of days to make sure their driver didn’t mark it delivered, even though it wasn’t delivered yet.

Turn out the UPS driver misplaced my packages inside the leasing office instead of my apartment building. Problem is that the leasing office doesn't open on weekends so the earliest I can get to it is Monday. Fingers crossed that it will stay safe there.

Misplaced? I thought for apartments the delivery destination is usually the leasing office because it is safer there, no?

They delivered it to the office two blocks down the street, I was able to pick it up today.

Technically, but this is the first time my package has ever been delivered to the leasing office. The problem was nobody from the apartment told me about it, so I had to track down the UPS driver to figure out where the package is.

Wells, as long as you got the package now that is important. Maybe because of the value of the package the UPS driver felt it was better to leave it in the leasing office. Enjoy!

You were home waiting for it ?
UPS should have left the notice of delivery on your door Or at least added the information online, so if you checked the tracking you would see where your package was

This kind of thing happens alot...not just to EVGA.  I ordered some parts for my son, who lives in an apartment complex in another state.  They delivered the Amazon package to the leasing office and never notified him of the delivery.  I only found out because I was tracking the package.  It was two or three days before the package was in his hands.  Their reasoning was that leaving the package at the door of the apartment would have left it open to theft by someone just passing by.  I don't have a problem with this...but had the UPS driver left a note on his door...would have been helpfuil

I don't think UPS drivers ever leave notes on apartment building doors. Imagine going to an apartment complex and having to deliver multiple packages. How many trips does he/she have to make, and worst of all, how to navigate some larger complexes? Which building is "Building 13"?
