Random freeze everyday with new LG 27uk600w monitor

I had a Samsung monitor with dvi connection and had no issues but after changing to LG 27uk600w monitor it has been freezing up randomly for about 10seconds ~5x everyday. I tried to install new drivers but can't figure out what the issue is. Event viewer doesn't show any critical errors or anything. Tried with HDMI and it was freezing so I switched to displayport and it seemed to have fixed a little but still freezing up on me randomly throughout the day.  I don't game or anything, just basic stuff. 

LG 27uk600w HDMI connection 4k 2k 3840 x 2160
EVGA RTX 2070 driver 461.09
Ryzen 7 1700x
ASRock x470
EVGA Supernova 750 G3 power supply
windows 10 pro 10.0.19042 build 19042

    Going back to the old monitor fixes everything?

    unfortunately my old samsung monitor will not display anymore so I had to get a new monitor.  Tried HDMI connection and was freezing so changed to displayport but still the same issue
