Hello all,
I recently made the jump to 10th gen from 2nd gen i7 and it was easy and painless to get up and running in no time!
The only weird thing I ran into was when I installed my two ram sticks (CMK32GX4M2B3200C16) in slots 1,3 (as shown on quick start guide) the ram would only boot into 2166mhz.
I reseated everything and swapped sticks and still wouldn’t boot with XMP 3200mhz.
I then put them in slots 2,4 and it worked and booted XMP 3200mhz, and has been running great. So I figured I would post the table I found below in case anyone else runs into this with their build since it’s not listed in the quick start in the box.
Edit: upon reading the z490 support docs I found this info table. Hope it helps!
