I ordered a power link, and I thought it was supposed to come in a small retail box, but it came in an evga branded bag? Don't know if that is normal. But when I took it out and plugged it in, it makes a really annoying high pitched squeel when the gpu is underliad, just like what my power supply makes. Is this normal?

    Coil whine is harmless, but can be annoying, so you can rma it for that.
