Hi everyone i had a bnew 2080ti xc ultra which i purchase from someone which makes me a 2nd hand owner..though i was the one who unboxed it with evga sealed sticker and all..

Upon using it for 2 days normal use didnt have any problem with it..i even run a fur mark stress test which i ran for 15mins no problem..
After 2days of normal used upon a restart of the computer suddenly it started artifacting with green lines like in the matrix even inside the desktop screen after log on and now on the device manager it says windows has stopped the device because it reported problems error code 43..

Did i was just unlucky or my 2012 system was not able to run a beast of a card and that they were almost decades apart?..

Thanks for everyones input

Your psu is probably too weak to push the card if it's from 2012. I'd suggest testing the card in another known good working pc to see if it acts the same in another pc.

the psu is not from 2012 its fairly recent and i ran it for 2 days with no problem..
i did search from youtube how 2012 setup holding up with 2020 gpu's and its fairly decent doing
just under 10 to 15 fps compare to ryzens 3rd gen and intel 9th and 10th gen
i dont think psu is the problem cause total system power at load was just around 400 to 500max.

PSU might not be the cause of artifacts, but unless you try a better one it can't be ruled out as the culprit.Wattage draw isn't the whole picture if you over stress the PSU's 12v rail you could be left with not enough amps to run the card.System Requirements for this card is 650-Watt or greater power supply. I would try another PSU. If you still have issues the GPU might be kaput.

Thanks you for the response it seems that evga has accepted the rma of the card upon troubleshooting with an agent..
Its a really fast response and decision making of the agent. Props to evga for fast rma process though it sucks to spend additional money for shipping cost after spending much for this card :(

Next time you purchase a PSU, ask us how which one you should get first. I think 600 is too low. IMO.    ;)

Agreeing with the others that GPU seems a little underpowered to be driving a 2080 Ti. I usually come to forums like these and ask how powerful a PSU I should get and then I bump it up a tier myself.
