I have a new HP computer.  I am installing the GT520 graphics card from my old computer into my new computer. However, after I install it the monitors are blank.  Can anyone help

What output was used to connect the monitor to the PC ?

    1) Stock - before you added your GT520 ?  ---> iGPU ?  (built into the CPU & plugged into the I/O of the MB)

If the answer is Yes, go in to the BIOS & change the default to the PCIe slot from iGPU

Why is this in the 20/16 Series GPU forum? This should be posted in the Legacy series, and also why are you using a GT520? Aren't those already long discontinued? Get a 1650 or something.

To fix this problem, do this: first, get into the BIOS. Start by rebooting your PC. Then press the F2 key, or sometimes Del (It should be on screen). This should get you into the BIOS. Then select the tab ADVANCED on the top, and navigate to the "primary display" option (Might be in a sort of drop-down menu named "integrated peripherals"). Set that to PCI-E. Then press F10 to exit BIOS, you might be faced with a confirmation, just press enter. If F10 doesn't work, navigate to the top right Save and Exit. You should boot into windows.
