rtx 2080 xc ultra artifacts and black screen

Well i started getting black screens and artifacts in game.  It does this in every game ive tried.  Ive tried different cables and drivers but still happens.  Card is getting up to 62 in game with hydro copper block installed.   I have installed this block 3 different times already to try and get better results however it is still the same.  Am i looking at an RMA?

Gskill 32 gb memory

    Not an RMA - If - when the stock cooler is reinstalled ---> the issue is resolved

    I'd do some testing - after the GPU is out


    1) Carefully examine the marks left in the thermal pads - looking for good contact on all surfaces


    2) Assemble with only TIM - [after removing the thermal pads] & check contact pattern on the Die & block ---> if Die contact is Poor - find the root cause - may be the block Or thermal pads ?

    Will do.  For now, after a reboot, it seems to be fine.  Im not sure what the issue could have been for for the next week i will test.  If i get the issue again i will pull it apart....

    Does underclocking the gpu to max negative values on the core and memory with msi afterburner stop the issues?

    At this point its acting normal.  If it starts it again i will try that.
