Hello, I just updated my z370 to 1.13 from something like 1.06. I did the update.bat method and everything went mostly well other than it not connecting to the internet. Windows diagnostics says "the Intel ethernet (2) I219-LM adapter is experiencing driver- or hardware- related problems.
I have cleared the cmos but I realised that is part of the boot up when a new bios is flashed. I never updated a bios before and I cant find much info on this problem any help is much appreciated.
More detailed info from windows diagnostics makes no sense to me lol Version # 12.17.10.8 Inf file name: c:wl\windows\inf\netlif64.inf Section name: e15b7.10.0.1 Hardware Id: pci\ven_8086&dev_15b7 Instance status flag: 0x1802400 Divide manager code:10 Iftype: 6 Physical media type: 14
I'd post an imgur link with the photos I took with my phone but I dont know if that's allowed they are 3mb photos I can only upload 500kb.
The build if that is needed i7 8086k 1070 ftw z370 ftw 4x4 16gb Blistix sport 850w g2 supernova 500gb evo ssd 280gb Intel optane 900p

Link to the File and make sure to use the complete URL that ends in .jpg Link to How ToChange to the Other Bios and see if you have Internet. Did you set the Bios Back to the Default settings before you updated it, a must. Also before you updated the Bios did you write down your Settings or take Snapshots of each of the Bios Screen? (The build) is always needed. Make Model and or Part Number is best.

Sounds like you need to go back to the older bios.

+1 Have you restore setting to default your BIOS before update v1.13? Maybe you need restore your BIOS Setting back default and try re flash v1.06 and try test if your internet working if so then try again update to 1.13 BUT make sure you must set default your BIOS before update to v1.13. Is the Network cable plugged in? Do you see LED Lights on Both Sides of the Network Cable Router/Modem Side and Computer Side? "I did the update.bat method" Redo the Bios Update and do it inside of the Bios. Boot to the Bios with 1.06 and after you are in the Bios change the switch to the other Bios and update it. Reset the Bios First by Pressing the Small Red Button on the Back of the I/O Plate when the Computer is On. It will force you do re-enter the Bios.

Sorry for the confusion Boot to the MB ---> BIOS screen, Not in Windows if the network is part of your MB hardware & Not an add-in-card NIC
