I just got this monitor from Newegg. Dell D2719HGF
It is advertised as a 144Hz "Gaming" Monitor. All in all it wasn't a bad buy @ $189 but WHY WOULD DELL NOT INCLUDE A DP CABLE?
It can't hit 144Hz over HDMI. It seriously makes me rage when manufacturers don't include obviously necessary accessories.
Dell still sux. End rant. Now I wait for DP cable from Amazon.

hdmi 1.3 to 2.1 supports 1080p @ 144 hz, so it should work.

I have always had to purchase my DP cables.

I would state that dell isn’t the problem.. it’s going to sound mean, but from your link:

    Packaging

Package Contents Monitor with stand, Power cable, HDMI cable, USB 2.0 USB cable, Quick Set-Up Guide, Safety and Regulatory Information.

It tells you right on the page you linked what is in the box.

I have 14 Dell Monitors and None of them came with a DP Cable.
Some back in the day did come with 15-Pin VGA Cable.

All companies do this kind of thing now. By either going with cheap cables or barely any cables or both they can cut extra overall cost. Same thing with making people have to buy extra hardware components. Heck I had to buy a conversion kit for my 27 inch HP cause it was the only way to convert it for VESA mounting.

Yes unfortunately, the low cost have caused the manufacturers to skimp on the included accessories. $189 for a 144hz monitor would make me assume it would not include anything but a power cable.

Got the DP cable. Gonna drop a post in 20 series. I was able to fix screen flashing by having both displays on the same refresh rate.

Good to know, thanks for sharing that --->  "fix screen flashing by having both displays on the same refresh rate"

as far as cables; sometimes they do include cables that do not even work very well -- & -- you end up buying a certified cable anyways
