So my 2080 Ti XC Hybrid arrives tomorrow...
I have updated my mobo BIOS (ASRock Z370 fatal1ty Gaming K6), my i7-8700k is running stock (liquid cooled), have the XC BIOS ready to flash if needed and have a EVGA 1000w G1+ PSU ready to replace my 3 yr old EVGA 750w. Besides the rosary beads, crucifixes, Buddah to rub, human sacrifice to the nVidia gods, anything else I should have on hand? Only partially kidding after reading all the failures of the RTX cards.

Fingers crossed, celibacy 1 year starting today might work. My 2080ti ftw3 is somewhere on this planet and i hope it will work.

Looks like I won't get the card till Wed. It's been sitting at the UPS depot since Fri but UPS is only doing special Next day deliveries until Wed.

Them the breaks! But the excitement will just have to last that much longer! Like Christmas morning hehe.

Before you install your card hold the Radiator above the Graphics Card and shake the GPU to force any air out of the Pump.
Make sure the Tubes are at the Bottom of the Radiator if mounted in the Back or Front of your Computer.

It's replacing a Zotac 1080Ti FE I installed the EVGA Hybrid kit on and that's what I did before I installed that card in the case so I'll be doing that again. Did it with the H150iPro cooler on my 8700k as well. Sam

Have had it running for 3 hours now, so far no issues. idles at 25-27c, in the couple games I've tried only went up to 52c. FPS about 20-30% better than the 1080Ti Hybrid it's replacing. i7-8700k (stock), 32Gb DDR4 2400. If it's still OK by this weekend I may try some mild OC. 3DMark Timespy was 11,952 , temp never went above 50c during the run.
My case is a Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra, open mesh, a lot of fans, room temp about 70f.

Well 4 days in and no issues. Hope it stays that way. Will hold on to my 1080ti hybrid for another week or so before I sell it.
