Sorry to hear this. Things could get ugly. I hope you contacted your bank/credit card company to remove her or to create your own account. If the property is in both of your names, i would move belongings you really cherish to a remote site, like a family member home or a self storage place. That way she can't come back when your not at home to take them.  If you change the locks, don't forget about reprogramming the garage door (if you have a garage) to only work with your remote.

Close Joint accounts or remove her from them, Sometimes it easier to open new accounts at bank / CC and transfer your assets & line of credit
 
If you cant change an existing account --- Try having the limit lowered to like $500 & get new cards issued in your name only at the same time ... explain your will no longer be responsible for her charges ...

WOW Knight, I'm really sorry to hear that. I know you have been through A LOT the last couple of years. The good part is, you are where you wanted to be. At least reading your postings here, that's what I thought. Women are a mysterious species..... She took the dog, because she knows you love him. There's a name for that.... Lot's of great advice, do it as soon as possible. 

My ex left me for a long time friend about 5 years ago.  Wasn't a surprise, we had been on the down slope for a few years, but it still sucked mightily.  I don't like change.  One thing it drove home is that the old saying "It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all" is a steaming pile of... garbage.  Ultimately the only person you can count on is yourself.  Hang in there.  It will suck right up to the point that it doesn't, then it won't. You'll find the freedom of doing what you want when you want is a nice change.

Sorry to hear this but with time you will probably realize it’s for the best. If she wasn’t focused on the relationship then it would have eventually ended badly.

Just don't rebound onto some other woman - that would be the worst mistake you could possibly make. Enjoy your freedom, sounds like you already have some hobbies so continue to pursue them, start putting yourself first. Don't start drinking excessively - that's a depressant and will not help anything (don't know if you even drink alcohol, but it's an easy trap to fall into if you do). I'm not going to say I'm sorry this happened, because it's not something to be sorry about - be relieved that you no longer have to live through the torture of pretending there was still a salvageable relationship there. You are back at the wheel and control where you go from here.

I'd look for social activities at you Gym & any local hiking clubs -- check at sporting goods store, not sure about online sites.

Yes, social interactions now & dating after said divorce is filed.  

Just do not get too serious with anyone aka the rebound relationship -- they never last ...
 
It is easier to make a plan, now the she has chosen to end it with zero attempt to fix it.

One day at a time, do what you enjoy doing ..... enjoy your time away from work - no demands on your time
 
 

Yep, learning how to live alone will be hard. But worth it, if I find that right woman down the road, she needs to love me for me and be my BFF not just my woman...

Wife has spent 12 weekends away from me with her BFF, i was not invited, then when we fin get a weekend off together she takes off again, and im the jerk. 

That was possible with me only if I party 3 days with friends and have open relationship with girl.
Than other girls are with me and I don't care.
