Hi guys,

I'm looking at getting a 1080ti and a water block for my build, but was wondering if anyone could confirm the compatibility for me.
The card I would like to get is the:
EVGA 11G-P4-6393-KR

EK Configurator shows the card works with these blocks:
EK-FC GeForce GTX FE [3831109831953]
EK-FC GeForce GTX FE - Acetal [3831109831960]
EK-FC GeForce GTX FE - Acetal+Nickel [3831109831984]
EK-FC GeForce GTX FE - Nickel [3831109831977]
EK-FC GeForce GTX FE RGB - Nickel [3830046995780]

Microcenter currently has this block:
EKWB EK-FC GTX 1080 Ti Water Block - Nickel
Mfr Part #: 3831109831915
EK compatibility list:
https://www.ekwb.com/configurator/waterblock/3831109831915

Would I be correct in assuming as the block at Microcenter supports the EVGA founders edition 1080ti, and the EK configurator shows the videocard takes EK FE blocks, that they "should" work together, even though they aren't on the compatibility list?

Could someone please chime in.

Thanks.

EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition GAMING, 11G-P4-6393-KR

I did not see that card listed on the EK Cooling Configurator, for the WB your looking at ---> I would ask EK

"Black Edition" may not have all the same connectors for LEDs and such, or different locations

The water block from Microcenter (https://www.ekwb.com/configurator/waterblock/3831109831915) you have listed will not work with the video card (EVGA 11G-P4-6393-KR) you selected.

EVGA 11G-P4-6393-KR  although based on a reference PCB has a DVI riser on the board where the true Nvidia FE PCB does not (only has DisplayPort and HDMI, no DVI connector).

The EK water block you listed at Microcenter does not have the required notch at the front of the water block for the DVI riser on the PCB.

You need the EK water block version that has this notch:
EK Configurator shows the card works with these blocks:
    EK-FC GeForce GTX FE [3831109831953]
    EK-FC GeForce GTX FE - Acetal [3831109831960]
    EK-FC GeForce GTX FE - Acetal+Nickel [3831109831984]
    EK-FC GeForce GTX FE - Nickel [3831109831977]
EK-FC GeForce GTX FE RGB - Nickel [3830046995780]

Other than the that notch, both versions are the same.

    Hope this helps.
