After installation (checkbox clean installation) gives:
This device was stopped because it reported a problem. (Code 43)
Driver 381.65 - normally works.
 
MB asrock x99ws 
Cpu e5-1650 v3 
4*8 gb Kingston 2666

    Do you have a modified BIOS flashed to the graphics card?
    Nvidia changed something in their driver and it will no longer allow certain modifications made in BIOS used on these cards. It will give you an error code 43 and the card will have an exclamation point next to it in device manager.
    Go back to your original driver (381.65 and see if the problem goes away. If it does and you have a modified BIOS on your card, you will either need to fix the modified BIOS or flash the card back to the original BIOS in order to use newer drivers with it.

    No, there were no modifications, neither I nor I. Video card "out of the box" - installed. not flash.
    Driver 381.65 - normally works. 
    Error code  43   with any driver after 381.65.

    You should report your issue to nvidia. You can file a bug with them here.

    you can see in a lot of posts here   I still stick with older drivers for my 900 cards like 355.82  .  too many silly little issues as you go newer  or latest drivers  for me  [and a lot of folks]   .   like there saying  '' NVidia seems to break as much as they try to fix  with each driver release ''  ...lol....  get ones that work well you better save them  handy .
     
    check the NVidia driver feedback thread and see if any thing is reported first.

    after all that I shrug my shoulders  and keep these older ones that seem to work fine  with out all that .  in the end its your call on whats best
