I just downloaded 6.2.3 and the main app is reporting my temp in "celsius" (with a C) but the temp shown is actually in fahrenheit. The HW monitor is actually reporting in C as it should. What gives?

Doesn't this question belong in the EVGA Software section of the forum?

Make sure that in Precisions settings that fahrenheit display is not chosen. I have heard that the fahrenheit display setting can cause fahrenheit temperature to be displayed but incorrectly still have the c instead of f for unit.

Inside settings there isn't a fahrenheit setting.

I wonder what happened to this 'feature': https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2697390
I suppose it has been removed, I don't know another way to enable Fahrenheit in Precision XOC directly, however I found out another method.

    1. First close Precision XOC
    2. Open the configuration file 'EVGAPrecision.cfg' inside the c:\Program Files (x86)\EVGA\Precision XOC\Profiles\ folder
    3. You'll find the following key inside: <add key="/Settings/GpuTemperatureUnit" value="0"/>
    4. Set the value to 1 and save the .cfg file.
    5. Start Precision XOC, it will report in Fahrenheit values.
However it's worth noting that everything else inside the application likely is following the Celcius rules for Fan profiles and such.
