Hello everyone, just thought I would open a thread to hear EVGA's and everyone's thoughts on the possibility of creating an AMD X399 Version of EVGA's Intel X299 line up.  Really hoping to at least get an X399 DARK.  Let me hear your thoughts, suggestions and opinions, and maybe if we get enough feedback maybe we can encourage EVGA to make an attempt and try to make this a reality. =)

    EVGA is an Intel/NVIDIA only company. They havent done AMD/ATI in a really long time and this type of thing seems to come up fairly frequently.

    EVGA is still Intel and an NVIDIA Based Company no change from when users asked when the X370 came out the B350 and the A320.

    The only way that I can see EVGA making an X399 board is if a couple things happen.
     
    1, Threadripper smokes the i9 series both in price and performance and has at least 1 geewhiz feature intel doesnt
    2, AMD approaches EVGA and makes a good offer on the licensing and other gobbledygook needed to legally make an X399 board
    3, Enough people start requesting it from both sides of the aisle, meaning people who want it are hammering AMD and EVGA both to make it happen.
     
    Maybe then, but only maybe. I would also imagine that should this happen, it would be a CPU only deal, no radeon cards. Nvidia has shown itself to be vindictive in the past regarding previously exclusive companies picking up radeon.
