I got a new monitor, the AOC Agon AG271QX. I cannot get the display port to work right. HDMI/DVI/VGA all work as intended. I can get into the BIOS and see the Windows startup logo when using the display port, I can even see my desktop when in safe mode, but I do not get a signal out when the Nvidia driver is loaded. The display port also does not show up as a second monitor. I've read around and it sounds like my 970 needs a BIOS update or the display port on the card is broken. I cannot find a BIOS update for my 970 (04G-P4-1972-KR). My spare monitor only uses DVI and VGA so I cannot test it on there, and I do not have a second video card with DP outputs to test with.
This wouldn't be an issue, but HDMI 2.0 and DVI do not support 2560x1440 @ 144hz.
Things I have tried:
- Updated Driver 381.89 to 382.05.
- Deleted Hidden old monitors from Device manager.
- Moved GPU from middle to top slot on my motherboard.
- Set PCIe to be the first video device in the BIOS.
