I was originally posting about random Core and Mem Clock spikes, but I am starting to wonder if it is google chrome causing this, and I was curious as to why Chrome is causing this? My core tends to sit around 253MHz, and my mem clock about 405MHz.. but then it spikes up to 1709MHz and 5006MHz for a second, the mem clock staying spiked for a split second later, before quickly falling back down to it's base. What makes me suspect chrome is that when I updated it and then relaunched chrome, it spiked the GPU. Does anyone know what is causing this, and why? And is this bad for my GPU? Is this normal?
