Hot!My evga Geforce GTX 970 just go weird

Hi,
 
Yesterday everything was fine. Today, I turn on my computeur and I got theses (cf. pictures).


I've tried:
1. Unplug GPU and start with my CPU. PC works well
2. Try to plug GPU on others slots of my motherboard => still glitched
3. Open my GPU to see if there is no more thermal paste. It's not great but I don't think that's it (cf picture).


With my GPU plugged, my PC don't start and print glitched images. When I touch my GPU after 1 min powered, it turns hot
Any idea ?

    Do you have another video card you can try?

    I think he tried it with onboard graphics and didn't have an issue?
     
    Looks like artifacting.  You can try using DDU (display driver uninstaller) and reinstalling drivers.  It's most likely a hardware issue though.
     
    For images to work you have to share to the file that ends in .jpg or .png.  Not the sharing link by Google Drive / Imgur.  Right click on the imgur file, click "Copy the Image Address" to share.

    artifacting means what? :)
    Ive tried uninstall drivers and reinstall but it seems without gpu plugged, I can't install driver. The wizard said : u dont have gpu detected. (or there is another way and Im a noob)

    Since your card is out of warranty you should try baking it to see if you might be able to revive it… https://www.overclockers....deo-card-with-an-oven/

    Make sure you bake the card with the die facing up instead of down as stated in the article.

    Otherwise if you try this GPU in another PC and it fails then your GPU has died.
