I have a Dell XPS-8900 Special Edition that I purchased a couple months ago.  I would like to upgrade the GeForce GTX 745 that came with it to a GTX 950.  I have some questions regarding upgrading my graphics card that I haven't been able to get answered by Dell.

My needs aren't gaming.  I basically run business applications (MS-Office including Access and Project, finance, and investing), and heavy photo and video editing.  I have the Dell XPS-8900 (i7-6700k processor), 32gb memory, 2tb HDD + 32gb m.2 SSD cache, Dell UP2516D monitor, and Windows 10 Pro.  I will be adding a second Dell UP2516D monitor soon and later hope to add an SSD and move the OS and applications to that.

I have narrowed the EVGA cards down to the following part numbers; 02G-P4-1952-KR, 02G-P4-1953-KR, 02G-P4-1954-KR, or 02G-P4-1955-KR.  Here are my questions:

1.  What is the difference between 02G-P4-1953-KR and 02G-P4-1955-KR?  They both say EVGA GeForce GTX 950 Gaming ACX 2.0, but show no differences.

2.  What is the difference between 02G-P4-1952-KR and 02G-P4-1954-KR?  They both say EVGA GeForce GTX 950 Gaming, but show no differences.

The only differences between the GTX 950 Gaming ACX 2.0 and the GTX 950 Gaming seems to be 2 BIOS versus 1, 2 fans versus 1, and the power consumption/connectors.  Is there a benefit in having 2 BIOS over 1?  Is there a concern for my system regarding the card size, power consumption, or power connectors?  The Dell website says the XPS 8900 has a "460 watt power supply and supports graphics card upgrades to 225 watt."

Given these 4 options, is there any of the cards that you would rule out due to the cards size, compatibility, or power requirements  Lastly, is there another EVGA graphics card, other than the GT 950 that you would recommend instead?  My thought is towards the 02G-P4-1955-KR, it is only $5.00 more than the 2 GTX 950 Gaming cards, is $15 cheaper than the other GTX 950 Gaming ACX 2.0 card, and it is currently $20 off the regular price of $164.99.

Thank you very much for your time.

    1. 1955 comes with a backplate. 1953 doesn't.
    2. 1954 uses a slightly different fan shroud & pcb layout. 1954 includes a dvi-i & dvi-d output where as 1952 only includes a single dvi-i output.

2 vbios is good for keeping your card up and running when the first one gets corrupt for whatever reason, just switch to the other & reboot your computer and continue working.

    I'd go with the 1955.
