I gave Longfellow a Suppressed Combat Shotgun and he really goes to town sometimes.
He must be a quick study. LOL
He's really funny at times but I want my Cait back.
Did you get the perk that he offers? I am so sick of Nick I'll take Dog Meat back and that is tough to say. Tired of wasting ammo on his sorry butt. Literally. Went to the settlement where Cait is and took a rest. Even though we aren't partners at the moment she still gave me her lovers well rested perk. She must be trying to bribe me to take her away from picking carrots. LOL

It's taking forever trying to get that perk but once I get it he's history. Poor Cait is stting at Longfellow's House in Far Harbor pining away waiting for me to come to her rescue and give meaning to her life again.

Did any of you guys bother with the latest DLC? been seeing a lot of mixed reviews. A lot of them saying it's the biggest joke.

I have the season pass so I will get it but I have not as of yet played the game since the download. I saw a small trailer and it does look interesting. The next big DL will be in August and that one has content worth killing more baddies for.

Something downloaded yesterday but I didn't know what it was. Only 167 Mb in size. I did build a barn at one of my settlements to put more beds in because there wasn't room for another house. I never noticed the barn in my Workshop menu before. I'll have to do some more exploring in it.

Personally, I think this latest DLC was kind of useless. In fact, I think Bethesda shoould issue a refund.
The download you got hit with was to update the game to 1.5.16 something or other.

You get it free with season pass, so no loss imho.
I'm mostly looking forward to seeing what people build with the new design tools available. Maybe there'll be some decent player generated areas added.

Agreed. I played the living crap out of this game and it's been fun but I think I have turned over just about every stone in the game. Only thing left for me to do is eat my son and I am almost there...

Not to spoil anything but I was planning on eating the REAL Shawn. Old man bones and all... If I see the kid, I am going to surround him with land mines and then nudge him but since this game has some magical conscience that never lets me kill kids, I may have to think of something else.

Eww, yuck! Too tough and at that age the meat is really stringy with a lot of gristle. Maybe slow cooking him in a giant Crockpot might soften him up enough to be chewable but there's not much meat left on him anyway.

I know which one that is. It doesn't pay to try and rebuild it. Just do a new one. Make sure you build your defenses strong as you will be attacked by the mirelurks often. There's the Death Claw to the north that will come and visit on occasion. I was playing for 30 min. and didn't get into the latest download. I had a few other things to do. I ended up at Sanctuary with an attitude so I saved the game and then blasted granny right out of her chair with the shotgun. After a couple more shots she got up and left. For an old hag, she can move. Every one turned red so I quit the game. LOL

I'm going to throw some foundation blocks down and try to build around that disaster. Most of my settlements are way over 175 Defense rating and some exceed 250 like Sanctuary and Starlight Drive-in. I got bored and turned my PC off for a while and spent the last 20 minutes trying to log back in here. Harumph!

I have a couple of settlements that are at 100 Defense but most of them are at 150 or better. There was a couple of times that I was having some issues with login. Most of it was getting transferred to the advertisement on the products page instead of the forum. It is getting worse. Grrr

Rhys gave me a mission to cleanup some area and told me the location was on my Pip Boy. It sent me to some old hotel that looks like the Addams family lived in it. I can't remember the name of the place but the only description in my Pip Boy says "Clear Out". It almost sounds like he is finished with me and wants me to beat it as in go away and don't bother me again. I cleared out some Scrap Palace for his last mission and for the first time ever I got support from the BOS and their Vertibirds. I have half of that old hotel cleared out now and have to find a way into the other side. Maybe this means war between the Minutemen and the BOS after I am done.

Looks.... um, yummy I think? I fixed that Coastal Cottage mess. I get an notice to go help defend that settlement and suddenly the settlers are all shooting at me. I loaded a save and the same thing happened. I walked away and a few minutes later they started chasing me and shooting at me again one by one and one by one I mowed them down with my Explosive Shotgun. I started covering that hole in the floor and a Brahmin wouldn't get out of my way so I blasted it to bits and continued my work. The only settler that didn't shoot at me was ADA. When I left I had a population of 1, ADA. Now I have a population of two. Sometimes it is just better to start over. I feel better now. I even stole everything in the Workshop before I left. Ha ha ha. Let that be a lesson to any settler that wants to shoot at me!

I just stumbled across a mine N.E. of Sanctuary called Thicket Excavation. There must be a glitch in the graphics because anything that looks like clean white cement is an illusion and you can pass through it to see the actual ground beneath it. I had to repeat the quest Pull The Plug because of it.

If she starts the fight then you can end it and there shouldn't be any issues from the local population. With all the (still) hidden locations I have, both on the mainland as well as the island I'll be at this for awhile. I still have to locate a couple more bobble heads as well as magazines.

I can't seem to catch her outside the walls and is why I ran inside Home Plate and sniped her or someone else from my roof. The whole population suddenly turned red in VATS and they were shouting "Lets get him" but they didn't know it was me because they were all running in different directions. Hooray for silenced sniper rifles!

That's screwed up. If she started the fight then it should be self defense and the population shouldn't be involved. I think you (bedded her) and broke her heart.

That might be because I really do sleep around whenever I have a chance. LOL I really want to Romance Isabel Cruz in the Mechanist's Lair but I'm not getting anywhere with her. Maybe Cait is giving her the 'Stink-eye' behind my back and scaring her away. Well, if I did sleep with my eternal 'woman scorned' it really wasn't that memorable. I don't remember her and maybe that's why she's mad?
