Hi all.

Just got a EVGA 2080 Super FTW from Newegg. Got my whole build setup and so far it hasn't been acting right. I keep getting a code 43 and it says I've got a problem with the card; but for the life of me I can't figure it out.  So far I've tried:
  • Uninstalling / reinstalling drivers
  • Disabling the card
  • Discharging electrical build up (safely)
  • Checked PCI-E to make sure it was nice and snug

That's basically all I know how to do. I've tried google but haven't found anything particularly useful. I'd rather avoid RMA on a card but if that's the only option then I guess that's what will happen, so if anyone has any idea how to fix this I would seriously be in their debt.

EDIT: Apparently I'm just an idiot and entirely forgot to plug in my dp cable into the card instead of my mobo.......thank you to those who tried to help!

Microsoft website Fix graphics device problems with error code 43

Fast Boot turned off on your MB in BIOS ?

Is Fast startup turned off in Windows ?

Are you using 2 separate PCIe power cords - from your PSU to your GPU ? (not the single power cord with the jumper / two ends)

Uninstall drivers with DDU in safe mode

Remove any OC on your system until you get this sorted
