Just built a new system. Wanted it to be hella beast so I went with the best from Evga:
Stinger z97 wifi mb
Intel Core i7-4790K Processor  (8M Cache, up to 4.40 GHz) (BX80646I74790K)
Corsair Hydro Series High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler H60
EVGA SuperNOVA 850G2 80PLUS Gold Certified ATX12V/EPS12V 850W Power Supply 220-G2-0850-XR
Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB 2x8GB DDR3 2400MHz PC3 19200 Desktop, Red CMY16GX3M2A2400C11R
Cooler Master Elite 130 No Power Supply Mini-ITX Tower Case, Midnight Black RC-130-KKN1
EVGA GeForce GTX 970 Super Clocked ACX 2.0 4GB GDDR5 Graphics Card

This thing should be kicking like a 4 legged ninja, however, the ram is only sitting at 1333, not 2400. Is there some setting I need to use? Shouldn't there be a " click here to set 2400" button in the bios somewhere?  The tech I spoke with said it was about the processor being able to run it at that speed, but there were no garentees.  Any info would be helpful guys!

Go into bios, Enable the XMP file on your ram.
    If not, update your bios.

Hello Nutchman2. Although the RAM is advertised at that speed, by default, it is not the speed that you will get out of the packaging. To be clear, that 2400Mhz is the highest speed achievable either by XMP or by overclocking your CPU and then increasing the frequency on the memory (speed varies  depending on how much you can overclock the CPU.)

@nutchman2, I almost got the exact same build as you, unfortunately I'm not even getting as far as you are. I'm stuck on Code 55 and was starting to wonder if the Corsair RAM is simply not compatible with this board (since it is not listed on Corsair's compatibility list), but since you got farther than I did I guess it should work.
